What is Whiskey March?

Whiskey March is a pub crawl for geeks.
Come join us on Friday 29th Oct @ 6:30pm in Zeitgeist, 199 Valencia Street.

We're going to take in 8 of the best, worst, and downright skankiest pubs in town. Despite the name, go with whatever works - beer, tequila, soda, vodka, water.

What's the plan?

Simple. 40 mins per stop, 5 mins between stops.

  • 6:30 - Zeitgeist
  • 7:15 - Thieves Tavern
  • 8:00 - Double Dutch
  • 8:45 - Kilowatt
  • 9:30 - Casanova Lounge
  • 10:15 - Elbo Room
  • 11:00 - Phoenix
  • 11:45 - Latin American Club

You can join in at any point along the way!

Who's going?

These fine people are, all 109 of 'em!

*We swear we wont autotweet anything from your account!*

Why? Why!

Whiskey March stumbled into life following a spate of emails between some Funconfers in Dublin and San Francisco. Originally intended as a simple meetup, someone suggested some whiskey bars, and it went downhill from there.

The first WhiskeyMarch was on 29th October 2010.

Whiskey March is organised by Eamon Leonard of Orchestra.io, with help from Tom Preston-Werner of GitHub.

It's a marathon, not a sprint. Take it handy!
