A special reserve pub crawl for web geeks
Dublin - 22nd Sept 2011
Whiskey March is a pub crawl for geeks, and for the first time, WhiskeyMarch is coming home, to Dublin.
What started as a few friends getting together in San Francisco following Funconf 2010, has come full circle, and almost a year on, we're still marching (and Funconfing!).
James Joyce once suggested that a good puzzle would be to cross Dublin without passing a pub... wonder what he'd make of WhiskeyMarch.
WhiskeyMarch is open to everyone who considers themselves a geek (and their friends!). Despite the name, drink whatever makes you happy :)
Follow @WhiskeyMarch or @EamonLeonard for updates.
Simple. 40 mins per bar, 5-10 mins in between each one.
These fine people are, all 33 of 'em! Stick your name down, eh?
*We swear we wont autotweet anything from your account!*
Whiskey March stumbled into life following a spate of emails between some Funconfers in Dublin and San Francisco. Originally intended as a simple meetup, someone suggested some whiskey bars, and it went downhill from there.
The first WhiskeyMarch was on 29th October 2010.
Whiskey March is organised by Eamon Leonard of Orchestra.io, with help from Tom Preston-Werner of GitHub.
